You’re a Human, Not a Machine
We live in a world that often glorifies hustle culture, but let’s take a moment to remember: you’re a human, not a machine. Quality over quantity, especially when it comes to our daily routines.
First up, sleep. Eight hours of quality sleep does wonders compared to a restless six. Your body and mind need this downtime to recharge, repair, and prepare for the next day.
Reading is fantastic, but 1-2 focused hours can be more enriching than spending four hours with your mind wandering. Absorb, reflect, and enjoy your reading time.
Exercise is crucial, but there’s no need to overdo it. One hour of good, heart-pumping activity is enough to keep you fit and energized. Balance is key; your body needs rest days just as much as workout days.
When it comes to work, deep focus for 1-4 hours can be incredibly productive. Ten hours might sound like you’re getting more done, but in reality, it’s often just burnout in disguise. Prioritize tasks, eliminate distractions, and you’ll find those 1-4 hours are more effective than ever.
Remember, you don’t have to push yourself to the brink to succeed. Embrace being human, and strive for a balanced approach in all aspects of life.
You’ve got this!
